6 prongs or 4 prongs
I am looking at buying a 1.07 round diamond that has baguettes on each side. I was just wondering your opinion on if I should have it mounted with 6 prongs or 4? I know that 6 makes the diamond look bigger but since the ring mounting is rectangular so to speak would it look better in just 4? Thanks for your time!

If you go with the six prongs the side prongs next to the baguettes will force the baguettes further away from the center stone. But with the four prongs the baguettes can be placed at 2:00, 5:00, 7:00 and 10 o'clock allowing the baguettes to be tucked right next to the round, for a more tight knit look. Go with the four prongs.
