Welcome to me! Me who? You might ask? Me You! Whether you realize it or not I am as much you as you are me. Scientists say that each human on the planet is over 99.99% identical! I guess that .01% is a big deal. It is. It’s what separates us from each other. It’s what unites us. That little .01% has started wars, famine, ideology, religion, deception and just recently the truth. Why should you care about me? Because I am your reflection. When you get angry with me, you are really getting angry with yourself. We all project what we don’t want to take ownership of on to each other. “The fault you find in others lies in yourself.” We are also a nation that is very insecure. When we accomplish something we say we are “Lucky”. We are gifted. All of us. Not some of us but all of us. Each in our own .01% way. That’s what makes us beautiful. That’s what makes us ugly. Ugly is nothing more than a perception and a contrast. Perceptions aren’t real; we make them up all the time. We define, divide and unite based on our perceptions. What do you see when you look in the mirror? Do you see me? No? Because I see you. Or better said – I see your shadow. Where have you gone? Why have you left before it is time to go? Who am I? I am you. Let’s get to know each other. It’s just me and my shadow.
