What does commercial diamond mean? What is the difference between commercial and noncommercial?

Hi Thomas, Commercial grade is synonymous to not good (crummy) quality diamonds. Here are the basic criteria for non-commercial grade (good quality): face-up white, eye-clean, Class I or Class II cut, faint/no fluorescence, 100% natural, and cut from a full-term rough. Anything that does not meet ALL these parameters is considered commercial grade.
