Diamond Reports
I am looking at a diamond engagement ring that has a IGL report. The site i’m looking at it on also mentions a UGL report. How credible are either of these agencys? Is there anything I need to watch out for? Should I also possibly have the diamond checked out by someone else locally to confirm what I’m buying?

Make the sale contingent on an independent appraiser’s analysis. Lab Grading Reports hide behind disclaimers like “this report is not a guarantee, valuation or appraisal.” I want guarantees. I want an FBA. Not a piece of paper.
