Fishtail vs basket
Hello. I am having an old family diamond re-set (round, 1.95ct) as a solitare on a 5mm polished platinum band and initially thought I wanted a basket setting (do not like Tiffany setting). As I like a heavier setting, my jeweler also mentioned a fishtail setting might look nice. What is your opinion between the two? What are the pros-cons of either.

They are both very secure, durability is not an issue but I think the fish tail is easier to clean. My vote is for the fish tail.
