Great advice. I recently sold a ring to TheDiamondLining.com after pursuing some of the auction ideas you presented. My ring wasn’t valuable enough for Sotheby’s or Christie’s, but The Diamond Lining made me a very fair offer.

i have a beautiful 1ct 2 tone square cut diamond ring. i do not want to get rid of but i need the $. got it appraised at just under $5,000 although we paid more then that.

Thank you for the information. Currently I am a contractor in Afghanistan. When I travel back to the States I fly out of Dubai, where I pick up gems. Also I travel to Thailand for my R&R’s. Both are great places for diamonds and gems. Note I have a lot to learn about color stones. Since I am just getting into this busniess I am very cautious of people. Always on my guard and have not problem tell these crooks, “No” when I attempt to sell my stones. Right now I am building a nice little nest egg for myself. One day I will dump all my stones, hopefully at a good profit. Again, thank you for the information.
