kite shaped diamond?
i’ve come across a kite shaped diamond that i would like to use as side settings on my engagement ring (one on each side of the solitaire). is this shape one that you would recommend? are they rarer/more pricey than other shapes? is it as strong as other shapes? i’ve heard the tip can be delicate..thanks! angela

Q#1: Not if the ring is going to be put through rough waters. Kites are easily broken at the points when smacked.
Q#2: I would say more unusual and do the high weight loss in recutting they tend to be pricey.
