old mine/rose cut ring

Hi Fred,

I just bought a diamond ring from a friend and found it was a 1.89 ct. old mine cut diamond, 7.70×7.03×5.22mm., SI2 I-J color, no fluorescence. It has 8 0.04 ct round brilliant cut both sides total weight 0.32 VS1 to SI1 clarity G-H to I-J. Good symmety and finish. Weight 7.1 grams. I bought it for $5,500.00. Did I have a good or bad deal?
