Children Come First – The Williams

My wife, Lisa Williams, is a loving devoted wife and stepmom to my three teenage children.

My first marriage ended in divorce and resulted in financial hardships. My first wife unfortunately is not a constant figure in the children’s lives, which has caused emotional “drama” in our household and the need for the children to receive counseling.

Approximately one year after our marriage I was laid off from my job and Lisa took on the entire financial load until I could obtain alternate employment. I am in the computer field and have been laid off a total of three times in five years due to company downsizing.

My son has reacted to the absence of his biological mother by acting out in school. This behavior has recently escalated resulting in him being sent to a juvenile detention center. Providing my son with adequate legal representation has once again caused financial hardships.

Through it all, Lisa has lovingly supported me asked for nothing in return. I have never been financially able to provide her with an engagement ring. She understands our situation, however, I know she would like to have a diamond of her own. It would be such a joy and blessing to provide her with this token of love and affection…and to say thank you for loving me so much and being a true testimate of the vows “for better or worse.”

Thank you for your consideration of this letter. God Bless.
